Completed Master's Degree in Pharmacology from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka, Bangalore, in 1999 with DISTINCTION and Doctorate in Pharmacology from the University of Kashmir.

Served as Drugs Inspector in the Drug and Food Control Organization, J&K for a period of about three years.

Presently working as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Kashmir.

2. Presented following four research papers at 50th IPC and 17th Asian Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences held at Mumbai from 10th to 13th December, 1998. These research papers have been published in the books of Abstracts.

i) Cardiovascular effects of aqueous extract of fruits of Emblica officinalis Geartn.The revised version of this paper has been sent
for publication in the Indian Journal of Pharmacology.
ii) Effects of fish oil on the penetration and activity of Nimesulide from gel formulation.

iv) Prescription analysis of antibiotics and evaluation of prescribing pattern of doctors and dispensing pattern of pharmacists for rational drug therapy.
